First off ...let me just say that all the five star reviews of Southline roofing are 100% accurate!! Ignacio was completely professional... and took care of all ..and I mean ALL of my insurance needs. He was in constant contact with me during the entire process. During our initial appointment he explained the entire process in great detail. My roof was installed in one day and their crew was professional, courteous, friendly and did a great job of protecting my plants and flowers. They did a thorough job of cleaning up as well. Can’t say enough great things about Ignacio and his crew!!! If you are need of a new roof or just repairs, Southline Roofing IS the company to call!!! Oh ... one last thing... in the beginning I had Southline , and two other highly reputable companies inspect my roof. When I told one of the other contractors that Southline was in the bidding, he even Acknowledged that Southline does a great job and that I would be in great hands with them!! I couldn't be more pleased! Ignacio and his team at Southline Roofing & Exteriors did a WONDERFUL job! I had some hurricane related damage... on my home from September 2019 and it was a struggle to get my homeowner's insurance to cover more than a few pieces that would ultimately never match. I found Southine from the reviews here and they are well deserving of their 5 stars! Ignacio was VERY responsive and went above and beyond to work with me to provide all the documentation needed get everything covered. The pricing was very competitive, the installation team were efficient and overall did a great job! The attention to detail making sure everything lined up right (they corrected a small misalignment that I hadn't even noticed) and adding trim pieces was impressive. The team even corrected a diversion issue that was causing rainwater to flow behind the siding at no extra cost! I'll admit that there were some nails still to clean up but that was more than made up for by everything else and they made it right. After all was done, I've received so many complements from my neighbors, I think I have the nicest house on my street!read more

Ignacio did a great job evaluating our roof and working with our insurance adjuster. His team did a great job replacing my roof. Ignacio... did a great job explaining the process and answering our questions each day. They took lots of pictures so we could monitor the progress. His crew was on time, professional and worked really hard. They did a super job removing debris and cleaning up all the lose nails and material in the gutters and yard. Ignacio and his crew did an excellent job!! They stayed in touch about the time and date of the job, were dependable and completed the job... within 2 days-and I have a pretty big roof. Cleaned up all the debris and cleaned my sky lights for me. They were very conscientious and wanted to be sure they corrected any problems the last roofer left. I really think atlas shingles are the best compared to other shingles. I got lots of quotes. When you get a 20 year warranty, it’s worth a few more dollars for the atlas. And in SC you need the mildew resistance etc. these shingles offer. If nothing else, Get a quote before you sign with someone who uses shingles of less quality. Ignacio does not sub contract out. Ignacio was amazing. He quickly located the problem that was causing the leak in my roof and put up a tarp to stop any more damage. He... dealt with the insurance to get everything taken care of. I looked up roofers in Google and Southline Roofing was among many. I needed quotes to figure out how much this venture was going to cost.... At the time I made a short list of prospective roofers, Southline made the cut. I called Southline, Ignacio got back with me and we made an appointment for him to come out and give me a quote. He came out, sent up his drone, took pictures and explained exactly what he would do to replace my roof, which had shingle damage from previous storms. He showed me the different shingles he uses and talked to me about the make, the manufacturer and the warranty re: each brand shingle he used. 24 hours after our meeting, Ignacio emailed me a quote, which beat out the quote I got from another roofer. We scheduled a date and time for the job to begin. Ignacio assured me that he would complete the job in one day and he did just that. His team came to the house around 7:30 - 7:45AM. I made sure the driveway was clear. I came back to the house around 5:30PM, at which time, his team of workers were ALL-HANDS-ON-DECK. They finished up around 9PM that evening and the yard looked untouched, INCREDIBLE! My family and I Thank-you.read more

Sadly I am Finally getting around to writing this LONG OVERDUE and WELL DESERVED Review for Southline Roofing . I had gotten Ignacio's... Number from A Neighbor down the street who was having work done on his roof . I contacted Ignacio and set up an appointment to have him look at my roof damage and see If anything could be done on such short notice , Mind You this was Friday around 4:00 in the evening and I really wasn't expecting him to do it that evening . We settled on a price , Then He told me he would grab one of the crew from down the street and be right back . By 6:00 that evening he had removed the damaged shingles and plywood , Reinstalled A new section of Plywood and Replacement shingles and cleaned up in the Dark !! Ignacio did a repair that others didn't want to waste their time on and I am very Grateful for that and I Highly Recommend Ignacio and his team for any Repairs you made need inside or Out ! After trial and error we found a reputable contractor to fix the leaks in roof. They put a new roof on and the hurricane came a week later.... The roof was excellent workmanship. I shopped around quite a bit. Roofing is a big investment in your home. These guys came in about a grand lower than the competition, but... did premium quality work. Ignacio was easy to work with and fair about extra work that needed to be done. My house is 30+ years old with original roof. It is impossible to know exactly what your substructure looks like until it is stripped. I went up a few times to see how it was going and after spending a few years in the construction industry I can tell you they were doing good work. They replaced what was needed and didn't get carried away with it to run up the bill. I'm very pleased with the results and end price. They will also give you a real warranty. Shingles are rated for 50 years for factory defects, workmanship is guaranteed by South Line for 15 years. The crew was on time, polite and courteous. They worked very quickly - whole job was 2 days with about 4 people working 12 hours. I had an unexpected water leak - I informed the crew and Ignacio - they jumped right on it. Turns out it was just condensation, but they responded quickly with no hassle. As a former project manager myself, I can tell you they aren't all like that - even the really big contractors will just say, "read your contract - that's not my problem." I appreciate their willingness to make sure everything was in good shape. The siding on my house was beyond salvage in several areas. It is the next project. For no extra, the guys patched it up best they could so it is at least water proof till I get around to doing the siding. The flashing looks great - I'm sure I won't have any problems with their scope of work. I highly recommend these guys. Great job crew! This is work to be proud of.Also, I haven't found the first nail in my yard. My girl and I went to dinner around 8:30 tonight, came back and the place was spotless. Again - save yourself some time. Go with these guys. Ignacio was lower before I showed other prices. And to the crew - you guys are all awesome, thank you. His team was on time and very professional while on the job site and cleaned up afterwards so you couldnt even tell they were there. Did a professional job ! In providing an estimate for the roof replacement he said there was wind and hail damage done to my roof. He... helped me file the claim, and co-ordinated the project with my insurance company. I received over $4,000 from my insurance company. My roof was 20 years old! I also asked him to trim the 16 large Palm trees on my property since he had an electric lift. He did an excellent job of trimming these trees for a nominal fee. He cleaned up the property very well and even dragged the palm tree clippings to the road for pick-up.I would highly recommend this company.read more

Excellent customer service and workmanship. Received five quotes to replace our original Ryland 14-year-old 3-tab asphalt roof. All the... quotes were pretty much in line with each other in cost. Quotes were done using the top shingle manufacturers - Certainteed, GAF, Owens Corning, and Atlas. Most the people we met with were equally impressive, so making a decision was tough. We chose Southline Roofing because of our interactions with Ignacio, his responsiveness, his overall quote, our research on shingles and his choice to install Certainteed product, his certification as a Shinglemaster by Certainteed, and his ability to answer questions and explain options. The stellar review history and reputation of Southline was also a key factor. While reading their reviews, we discovered Ignacio and his team had done extensive work for a family friend and her elderly father on his aging house. A year later, they are still completely satisfied with the job and gave a glowing recommendation to Southline Roofing and Ignacio. Online reviews are helpful, but there is nothing like word-of-mouth from someone you trust to give you peace of mind, and that sealed the deal for us. Now that the job is done, we know we made an excellent choice. Communication from Ignacio was excellent. He kept us updated on shingle delivery and on schedule updates. Our installation was delayed only one day from the original schedule because of typically unpredictable and stormy Lowcountry summer weather. On the day of installation, Ignacio assigned a double crew to complete the job in one day. We were skeptical it could be done in a day, and certainly didn't want the job to be rushed, but they did complete it and without cutting any corners. We found Ignacio and his entire team to be friendly, organized, and intentional about doing the job well. After a long day starting before 8 am, the crew stayed focused to finish the job, packed and cleaned up into the evening, and didn't leave until they did an extra sweep of the yard and driveway for nails and debris. They left our property immaculate, even cleaning out our gutters and pressure washing any residual dirt from the siding before they left. And best of all, we love our red roof! It looks amazing. When we chose the Cottage Red Landmark shingle, Ignacio was honest and said he had probably only installed one red roof, and that was three or four years ago, but he promised if that was our choice, he would make it look amazing. While his crews were working, several neighbors stopped by to admire our new roof and to get his information to quote their own roofs. We hope we don't see a lot of red roofs popping up (we chose this color to be different!), but whatever the color, we highly recommend Ignacio and Southline Roofing for your roofing job.read more

Ignacio's crew repaired my roof today on the 4rth, he had secured my roof with a tarp until his crew could come out to make the repair. ... They were clean, quick, and left my yard immaculate...great communications, reasonable pricing. I only wished they were around when I had my home reroofed in 2008 thinking I had 15-20 years without problems...I've had a handful of leaks since due to bad workmanship of the previous roofer. If I could afford it, I'd have Southline redo the whole thing today. I will definitely call Southline Roofing if I have more problems.read more

I was very impressed with the entire roofing process. After the initial inspection, we received an overview of the condition of our roof... and an explanation of what needed to be done. Ignatio then showed us the materials that would be installed and explained the guarantees provided by their product provider Certanteed. On the scheduled install day the crew showed up and began to lay out tarps to protect the plants and property around the house. During the course of the installation it was discovered that the roof actually needed repair work done and they showed me what was the issue with photographs of the damage and proceeded to fixed everything perfectly. Although this stalled the installation, it was necessary and I am very happy that they did the repair. They completed the roofing the next morning and proceeded to clean up the property very carefully and thoroughly. Thank you Ignatio and the Southline crew for such a great roof. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a roof or just needing repair work done.read more

Great company with super customer service and products! Ignacio does a great job of communicating and manages the whole insurance process... from meeting with the estimator, submitting the claim, working with the adjuster to get claim approval and getting recoverable depreciation payment. His team worked extra hours to get the job done as soon as possible taking care of landscape and repairing all damage to the roofing structure. Once the roof was done, they cleaned up everything including using magnets to get all metal objects out of the yard. I used Home Advisors to get the best roofing company with the highest customer review rating and Soutline out ranked them all. Before choosing them, I went to 5 previous customers who all highly recommended Ignacio and his team!!!read more

Wow -- fantastic!! Ignacio Lopez and crew did a fabulous job on our roof. They are extremely hard workers and pay great attention to... detail. They are experienced, skillful, knowledgeable, and reliable. When Ignacio says he'll be at your house to give you an estimate at 4:00 p.m., he's there at 4:00 p.m.!! He follows up with every inquiry, makes sure his crew is doing a professional job, and follows up with the clean-up. While working, there is, of course, debris everywhere, but when I came home from grocery shopping today, I looked at my yard and said, "WOW!" Everything had been cleaned up, and it looked perfect. I contacted Southline Roofing for a quote on what we thought was a minor roof leak repair. Mr. Lopez (Ignacio) inspected our roof and... found that we may have possible wind/hail damage. He met with the insurance adjuster and together, they confirmed that we did have wind/hail damage, and the insurance company approved the roof replacement. Ignacio provided the insurance company with the necessary reports, and explained to us in detail the process for replacement, the cost, and the warranty. We knew exactly what to expect during the entire process, and Ignacio communicated with us daily on the status of the job. His team was very professional, hardworking, arrived on time, and kept the debris cleaned up throughout the roof replacement. Following the replacement, Ignacio returned to the job site to make sure the job site was clean, that we were satisfied with the replacement, and if we had any questions or concerns. Ignacio and everyone from Southline Roofing were fantastic to deal with from start to finish. He was available for and responsive to... questions all the way from deciding which shingle style to go with through the conclusion of the job. The crew was always on time and hard working, and even asked us if we had a time preference for them to return the next morning, being that our job was completed on a weekend. Ignacio and his team are wonderful! He accommodated my travel schedule by driving an hour to give me and Dad a roof replacement estimate... the day I arrived from NY. He then spent hours assessing the damage in Dad’s attic and on the roof while documenting with photos before thoroughly explaining Southline’s products and procedures. Despite some rain the following week, his team completed what seemed like an exhaustive task in just 2 and a half days by replacing all of Dad’s damaged siding and wood before putting up a beautiful new roof. The team was meticulous in their clean up, too, leaving no trace of a nail or stray material behind. Countless friends and family members have complimented Dad on his “new house”. These guys are the best. Thought i was going to have a mess to deal with , but you cant tell that they had been in my yard. Young man the... whole day was policing the area around the house, (tarps around the entire house) Work crew of approx. eight men were very professional and hard workers.
